Continue readingThe 2-Glass Test to identify bacteria in Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome and Chronic Prostatitis is not typically used in the UK. Patients are often given a range of other tests - cystoscopy, semen, urine, PSA, MRI, X-ray and ultrasound to name a few. The initial treatment is very often a course antibiotics, ranging from 4-12 weeks and longer in some cases.

My aim is to take every individual patient I see and treat them as individuals. If I am not achieving this then I believe I am letting down that patient. It is therefore imperative that my approach is bespoke and tailored. Failure to do so is likely to result in an unsuccessful outcome.
