I am very excited to announce that I will once again be running a men’s Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome/Chronic Prostatitis Support Group. This online community is dedicated to supporting and helping men living with chronic pelvic pain syndrome.
Having run many face to face and online support groups in the past (here and here) I feel impassioned to offer this incredible high valuable service again. These Men’s Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome/Chronic Prostatitis support group will have a slightly different feel to them. You will be split up into small groups of men with similar symptoms and duration of condition. You will be able to chat directly with these other sufferers, share your experiences, share tips around self care and your wins and feel like part of a bigger community. You are not alone! You Matter!
This incredibly isolating condition can lead to men feeling alone and poorly understood, like there is no one else suffering with the same symptoms. Paradoxically Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome/Chronic Prostatitis (CPPS/CP) is incredibly common, with up to 50% of all men expected to experience these types of symptoms in their lifetime. It is the most common urological condition in men under 50 years old and the 3rd most common in men over 50 years old.
Having suffered with this condition myself, I know only too well how much of a burden it can cause. How we can feel like no one else fully understands what it is to live with these symptoms. The aim of these support groups is to connect men, make them feel like they are not alone. That there are others out there who full grasp what it is like to have Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome/Chronic Prostatitis (CPPS/CP).
The support group is a virtual online community. A place to hang out and chat with other men going through exactly the same as you are. Connect, share, support and simply be there for each other.
You no longer have to feel alone, poorly understood and isolated. Don’t miss out on making amazing connections in our next Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome/Chronic Prostatitis (CPPS/CP) Support Groups for Men.
Join us for informative sessions, interactive discussions, and a supportive community that’s here to help you navigate your pelvic. pain journey. Let’s come together to raise awareness and share our experiences!
